Django Developer

 

About the role

This position will help lead the growth of our analytics and monitoring platform. You will be a lead Django engineer working closely with our team.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in writing web applications using Python, databases and message queues like Kafka, AMQP, SQS.
  • Experience with popular third-party libraries and frameworks (e.g. Django, SQLAlchemy, Flask).
  • Skilled in automation work (CI/CD) and infrastructure management (Google Cloud, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with current standards and technologies (RESTful, Python 3.6+, PEP8).
  • Experience working with a distributed team.

What you will do:

  • Design future-proof software architectures aligned with cloud platforms.
  • Design and implement back-end systems and APIs using state-of-the-art technologies and practices.
  • Develop back-end components of user-facing web applications.
  • Communicate with teammates on a daily basis.
  • Learn new skills and technologies as you go.
  • Be responsible for your code. Ensure your code is testable and tested.

Who you are:

Analytics and Tag Management Specialist (Full Time or Contract)

 

Do you love data and could spend your entire week sifting through Google Analytics and GTM accounts? Are you looking for an opportunity to thrive and flex both your analytical and technical skills at a fast growing start-up?

We are looking for an analytics architect to build and scale tracking technology solutions for our eCommerce clients.

 

About the role:

The Tag Management & Analytics Specialist will work closely with our eCommerce Analyst and Success Management teams to design, build and maintain tracking solutions for our eCommerce customers. For this role, success will come through taking ownership of the technical and functional implementation of tracking, reporting, and ongoing holistic pixel and tag management.

What you will do:

  • Implement and customize web analytics and website optimization tools based on our client’s needs, specifically: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and tracking codes from online media vendors, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Klaviyo and others.
  • Lead pixel implementation and incorporate pixel audit suggestions 
  • Optimize page load speed and report on site functionality
  • Analyze site data and provide insights to the team on customer behavior on-site
  • Build out site reporting, monitoring and alerting
  • Develop and implement tracking needs to support A/B and MVT testing leveraging Google Optimize
  • Develop a data quality metrics framework which includes dashboard/scorecard, and monitoring (alerts/triggers)

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Certification in Google Analytics a plus.
  • 3 + years experience in eCommerce  
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Expert at Google Analytics
  • Above average experience in Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with testing and optimization platforms (Google Optimize a plus.)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) and Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation
  • Experience with web development technology and content management systems
  • Self-starter and able to work well with individuals at all levels and across functions
  • A data nerd. Passionate about embedding data-driven decisions within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with highly effective communications
