Understanding How Attentive Works
Attentive is a top-notch SMS and email marketing platform. It segments audiences based on engagement data and sends tailored messages to each subscriber.
Engagement data refers to the information collected from user interactions with a brand’s website.
For example, a potential customer clicks through your Ad on Instagram, browses a collection, adds one product to their cart, then gets distracted and doesn’t complete their purchase.
Attentive can use information about the collection the user browsed or the product abandoned in their cart to send a reminder via SMS or email.
How Abandonment Checkout Flows Work
For an abandonment checkout flow to work, it needs to receive data.
When a potential customer abandons their online cart, reminder messages (like those from Attentive) need information about what that user was interested in.
But sometimes, Attentive never receives this info.
This happens for a variety of reasons.
